Job Application Material
This section includes my résumé, cover letter, and thank-you letter. These documents demonstrate what I learned this semester about professional communication and presenting myself effectively to employers. Before this course, I did not fully understand how important organization, formatting, and audience awareness were when creating job application documents. Throughout the semester, I learned that employers often form first impressions based on the professionalism and clarity of these materials. My résumé highlights my educational background, leadership skills, and experiences as both a student and athlete. My cover letter explains how my experiences connect to potential job opportunities, while the thank-you letter demonstrates professionalism and appreciation after an interview. Overall, these materials reflect my growth in professional communication and my ability to market myself professionally.

Thank you letter
Dear Dave Whitby,
Thank you for taking the time to interview me for the position at Merced Golf and Country Club. I appreciate the opportunity to discuss my experience, background, and interest in the position.
I enjoyed learning more about the responsibilities of the role and the positive work environment at the club. After our conversation, I am even more interested in the opportunity and believe my experience in customer service, teamwork, and golf would allow me to contribute positively to your team.
Thank you again for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
